Rolled-Up Holiday Pay (from January 2024)

From 1 January 2024, employers can use rolled-up holiday pay for irregular hours and part-year workers. This means holiday pay is calculated as 12.07% of total pay in each pay period and paid alongside normal wages, rather than when leave is taken. Employers must show the holiday pay as a separate line on payslips. This does not apply to full-time or regular part-time workers on fixed contracts.
